Check your sugar/carb addiction. Try it.

No processed carbs for one day. No cereal. No bread. No biscuits. No granola bars. No french fries. No sugar soft drinks. No beer. Nothing processed for 24 hours.

What is your addiction level?

Yes, I tend to do so for at least 3-4 days every week.

If I can eat all / any meat or seafood I want and green vegetables and almonds / cashews — super easy.

I cut out bread, potatoes, pasta and sweets 2 years ago. I've lost 75lbs. Everyone should do this.

I’ve been eating keto for about a year now. This is how I live 24/7. It’s not bad.

But when I eat carbs, I eat a shite ton. Gained 7 lbs in a day and a half. Pizza, fries, burgers, Oreo shake, pho, bahn mi…

It was glorious

That's incredible. But when you first started your cravings must have been through the roof, right?

Honestly, once you cut them out, it gets easier. I do however get to a point where I have to have some white rice if I'm working out a lot (otherwise I will get a little lightheaded).

Now wherever I do carb out, it makes me feel pretty gross.

I just know cooked potatoes is an easy starch for our bodies to break down into sugars so IMO you can lump potatoes into the the processed carb category. Just like rice.

Sure, but I don't eat enough of them for it to be a serious problem that needs cutting out.

It's not hard at all for a couple of days. I eat like that most times regardless.

I can. I try to do this Mon-Fri and have been for about two years now.

My addiction level is a 9.5/10 and all I think about all day is processed carbs and nicotine. Its an everyday battle.

If i so much as eat a mini-snickers I'll devour sugar for days and gain a few pounds before i catch myself.

When I get "sweet" cravings my wife will make cupcakes or a cake with keto flour and Splenda. She makes keto biscuits too for bread substitute. The only thing I really miss out on is potatoes. It's a mindset. I reinforce to myself that how I feel 75lbs later is better than any food tastes.

Is it a real potato cut and fried and lightly salted or is it a processed mixture of multiple ingredients held together with food safe adhesive and then dusted with sugar and salt?

What is your definition of a processed carb? Wheat that has been ground down?
