I think everyone would agree that genetics has a substantial influence on intelligence which in turn has a substantial influence on achievement.
There are clearly statistical genetic differences between the groups in question.
It seems preposterous to assume a priori that the difference in mean genetic intellectual capability is precisely zero. That axiom is political rather than scientific.

When blacks attitudes change then the gap can change.
It is partially genetic and the majority a cultural problem. And not the schools problem. Black culture and parents problem. It's a joke to call the whole system racist and whine about inequity when you look at who is taking school serious at the ground level and who is not. This would be MUCH different if black students were begging to be taught and were doing everything to reach ahead.
Some are.
A lot could not care less and disrupt the education of others.
It is insane the amount of energy spent on closing the gap. Last I checked Asians were a minority group and were kicking arse. They get zero attention and representation.
At some point the emphasis on the family has to take hold or there will be little traction.
The major issue now is that liberal run school systems buy into this inequity narrative and try to fudge numbers to make stats look better. Meanwhile expectations slide and middle class parents figure out the game and start pulling out for the suburbs. And the cycle perpetuates itself.

So everyone has genetically the same chance of a 100+ IQ regardless of lineage?

It is actually a waste of resources to attempt to bring those student up and close the gap. Education happens in a home for the most part with good parents and family. Have a structured home with decent people as parents is able to span socioeconomic gaps. Poor kids can go to Harvard if they are intelligent and given the proper environment at home. This resources would be better spent sending this kids to trade school and teaching them a way to make a living. Same goes for rich who're kids, all of them have parents that think they are gifted and that not the case. Most white kids that go to college just get there because of money and they are idiots.

Even studies that hint at this kind of thing have the wherewithal to ignore race. It is a highly researched topic and they've come up with precisely zero evidence that a particular race is intellectually superior due to genetics.

I didn't say that. What I said what black people aren't genetically inferior to white people and Asians as a whole on a racial level.
Of course genetics plays a role in intelligence. But it isn't a sweeping race thing. There are plenty of intelligent black people. And there are plenty of black kids with high IQs and shitty grades because their parents and their communities don't give a frick. Just like there are plenty of white kids with lower IQs and better grades because their parents and communities care.
I'm not going to be bated into an asinine strawman argument or logical fallacy.

Seems if there are clear and obvious physiological differences between races, which anyone with working eyeballs already knows, then there's no reason why there wouldn't also be some mental differences. I imagine it's just much more difficult to measure and compare mental capacity.

The people that run the state all went to, and send their kids to, private schools. They don't care about little black and brown kids catching up.

And also, why is intelligence the "no go" zone?
I can admire a person from west African lineage supirior athletic ability. I can apreatiate the task men can do better than women and the myriad of things that women can do better. I can admire a Nordic persons strength. From Irish being impervious to psychoanalysis to having Eskimos facial features retain heat better there are countless genetic differences between us base on ancestry.
But if I point out that a person from east Asia or an Ashkenazi Jewish person is more than likely more intelligent than I, I'm racist? I didn't say genetically supirior just on average smarter. Why is being PC anti science?
I can admire a person from west African lineage supirior athletic ability. I can apreatiate the task men can do better than women and the myriad of things that women can do better. I can admire a Nordic persons strength. On average blacks live in more single mom households. With that it means they often don't have a parent at home to keep track and help, so education goes by the wayside. Some kids often are forced to work, so that obviously hurts. The big way in which kids in these environments could be helped is by getting them into some sort of boarding school type deal where they are removed from a crap home life and given more support when not in school and provide them positive role models from the community.

Yeah. The double standard about this always pisses me off.
Blacks are generally better athletes. Whites are worse. That's perfectly fine to say but dear god don't say the reverse when talking about intelligence.
