Can someone explain why Golden Chick restaurant has 100 cars in line every day

This is reminiscent of the Krispy Kreme mania of 15 years ago. All the fat fat fatties of Baton Rouge are all a flutter. What is making you people ( not racist ) wait in line for 90 minutes for fried chicken ? Every time I pass that place there are cops directing traffic through the drive thru and cars are backed up onto the shoulder on Airline Hwy. Why do people do this to themselves? Also what time should I get in line for lunch?

I don't spend much time around airline/choctaw but those that do usually enjoy friend chicken and likely don't have anything else going on that day

Looks like it's up Airline past Frank's and Cortana. Can't really say that I'm ever in that area anymore.

This is how Cathy's Southern Kitchen started a quarter mile around the corner.. then it died down to the point when I passed by I was pretty sure they were closed, but were actually open just with shortened hours... I suspect Covid put the nail in the coffin for Cathy's

Oh they're still going strong, at least the one on Clearview in Metairie is. Every day going to and from work there is a line around the building, across the parking lot, and 20-30 deep down the road leading to the store. I find it disgusting.

I’ve never tried Golden Chick, but cars line up around Chick-fil-A here in Arkansas like it’s OMG good. It’s good but I’ll be damned if I’m waiting in line 30 minutes plus for chicken!

The checkers on Florida opened 2 days ago. The lines are wrapped around the building then several blocks down florida

The funny thing is you can pull up, park by the door, order on the app and have your food and be gone before you would have even made it thru the line to order.

The biggest issue with Cathy's was that the owner/operator went to prison for bank fraud shortly after the restaurant opened.
