This. I didn't tell them about my knee surgery.
It's not like they're gonna x-ray the kid.

Weirdest disqualifying issue I saw while i was processing into the Navy was a Marine recruit couldn't touch his pinkie finger to his thumb. They rejected him on the spot.

Tell him to join the Navy instead. They are all a little light on their feet.

Do not tell them. They don’t x ray your feet at MEPS

Can he sit in a chair? They’ll take him.

Not unless requirements have really dropped and I doubt they have. Call a recruiter they will lie to you and let you know.

While the draft was on during the Vietnam War, we heard the doctors were told not to check the eyes but to count them.
Times have changed.
Hope he gets in.

Does he have a limp? If so, they doc at MEPS is going to look sideways at him and send him to get an evaluation. If he doesn't look lame, then he may be good. It's really up to the evaluator, and the kid's general demeanor. Believe it or not, the evaluators are people too and will try to help the potential recruit.

DO NOT DO THIS. The first time he has any issue and they discover it he will be articled out with a possible felony. I'm not kidding, seen it happen myself. Especially when he has physical hardware present.

What color is this dude ? What’s his family median income ? Did he vote for Biden ? Do BLM mean something to him ? How many drug arrests has he been a part of ? Has he ever played Call of Duty ?

AF pilot candidates are now allowed to enter flight school wearing glasses, some things do change depending on needs.

Dogs are joining by the doezen....I'm sure your kiddo can find a spot on the Space Force.

Glasses are a long way from metal screws in the ankle. With the pilot shortage they are probably even taking former naval aviators (scrapping the bottom of the barrel).
I am just kidding don't get your skirt all rustled up semen.

I would call a recruiting office or something.
Better yet, have him go down and talk to a recruiter with you there.

I am retired air force and at one time was the ops officer at a recruiting squadron and 2 MEPS. His issue would disqualify him, however, certain things can be waived by certain AF level MDs. Can't hurt to try. I have a friend whose son had open heart surgery as a teenager and was accepted. But it took 2 years. In any case good luck.

Does he want to be a she? If so, then he has a shot.
