i know a kid who wants to be in the air force when he graduates. however, he has screws in his ankle/feet from a few corrective surgeries. does he get in?

If he had screws loose, he could be president

Not if he can’t outrun the fat kid or the slowest women in the class.

Most debilitating foot or ankle injuries will be disqualifying. Candidates and recruits must not have any current injuries, even if the injury is minor and can heal in a short period of time.

Per google

But I would call a recruiting office or something.

Is he a member of Biden's alphabet group?
If so, xe'll bypass basic training and will be flying jets in no time.

These people can walk their fricking PT tests now. I don't think an ankle injury is gonna keep him out.

Just tell him to tell the recruiter he's a tranny and they'll probably give him a $30k signing bonus

Not likely unless he has some skills that are in high demand. Graduating from high school... probably not going to be accepted. Graduating from college in a STEM field... might be able to make an exception.

Maybe.

He’s definitely out if he’s color blind.

Talk to a recruiter. See if a medical waiver could be available for the kid. If he is DQ’d at MEPS, he won’t be able to join.

No. Pre-existing conditions of that degree disqualify.

Tell him to major in aeronautical engineering and computer science in college. If he can’t get into the Air Force, he can at least design the airplanes and avionics for the Air Force.
