Doesn’t look like the case in this instance. Please keep us updated

Mickey Mantle baseball and slightly used Calvin Klein ankle socks $50. Don’t low ball me. I know what I have.

It could be a team later than 51 if DiMaggio isn’t on the ball but without the backstory you’d have to check each signature. It’s possible they got most of the team and missed DiMaggio. Yankees won the WS in 51, 52 and 53 with a roster that had Rizzuto, mantle, Berra, and Ralph Houk. Ralph Houk’s last year was 54. I saw all of those names on the ball so good chance you have a ball from a WS winning Yankee team with multiple HOFers. DiMaggio obviously adds to the value but it’s still worth something without him.

Send it in to be authenticated or go to a trade show where rhey may be able to do it on the spot, but don't count on it. Beckett may be a good spot to start

Go get it authenticated personally. Do not send that in the mail

I'm thinking it's legit... a fake/printed ball wouldn't have Dimaggio left off
One sold a while back in Goldin Auctions for $3600 but it had Dimaggio on the sweet spot. The early Mantle auto is pretty cool though.
If I had to guess... prob $3k or less. Now would be a good time to have it authenticated and sent to auction if you're wanting to sell. Prices have gone up considerably since Covid.

He will be waiting a long while for it but it does seem like the grading and authenticating services are catching up

Looks real but he tanked the value writing 1951 YANKS on it himself

Pretty sure you can send it directly to the auction house and they will get it authenticated... but it's gonna cost money.
If OP is wanting to sell, I'd recommend contacting one of these:
Goldin Auctions
Pristine Auctions
Heritage Auctions
Robert Edward Auctions
The all deal in sports memorabilia

Send it to JSA or PSADNA for authentication. With JSA up to 20 sigs on one item is $100.
Just get it authenticated, not graded, because it will grade poorly. IF all signatures are legit you could probably get upwards of $2200 to $3000 for it. It could go for more, but it would depend on the buyer and the day. The Mantle rookie year sig is cool, and it is a world series year. The only knocks are no Dimaggio, no Stengal, Condition, and no auto on sweet spot.

It has a Mickey Mantle rookie autograph
If authenticated, it's worth a damn fortune.

More than likely it's legitimate. I've seen other balls like that at an old baseball coach's home signed by teams from the 40s and 50s. Looked exactly like that.
Well shite, I'll give him $10k for it then

Get it authenticated, take it to Vegas, and I bet you can get on an episode of pawn stars

I’ve got Yogi’s and Mickey’s autographs and they look a lot different but they were also from later in their careers

I read somewhere that Mantle was notorious for not signing the balls that the team would put out in the clubhouse before games for all the team to sign, so clubhouse man Pete Sheehy would often sign Mantle’s name on them. I can’t remember if I read it in Bouton’s or Pepitone’s book.

The ball looks right for that time period.
Looks like Johnny Sain has his autograph on it, he didn’t get traded to the Yankees until Aug 29 1951, so it’s a ball from late in the season. Because of that I’d doubt it was a ball with auto pen signatures, they’re likely real.
Nice ball. You won’t retire off of it, but it’s worth some money. Send me a message if you’d like to sell, love to have it got my 9 year old grandson.
