It is. I’m done, my venting is out and I feel better.

About to get stuff ready for the boil and egg decorating tomorrow. I know this level of bitch isn’t becoming but this situation is pushing us all to our limits. Thanks for letting me be the worst on here; gonna to kiss my husbands cheek and go to sleep. Happy Easter.

Two cans of drained corn, one small jar of jalapeños with juice, one stick of cream cheese. Melt/cook together in sauce pan.

It isn’t sophisticated but it is good.

Baby girl loves being home with mama and is a total people pleaser but she wants to be attached to me 24-7. She doesn’t go to sleep unless I’m laying by her holding her hand.

When my 5 year old was younger he was like that with me. Even when he was 2.

I would chill in his room and he’d eventually fall asleep. Even now he wants me to come stay with him sometimes. Which is a pain because he sleeps on a top bunk (thankfully it’s a full) and there’s no ceiling fan because it would basically be blowing two feet above the bed.

My youngest is pretty good. Always slept like a champ. At times I just go lay on the ground in his room for 5 minutes and he’s out.

With school it’s not too bad. I’m probably doing 75% of it with my 5 year old. He starts kindergarten in August so we’ve been doing all kinds of kindergarten curriculum (my wife teaches kinder). He’s done well probably mostly thanks to daycare but he’s reading at a first grade level and doing math. Our oldest has been doing decent since we’re rewarding him with AirPods and an Xbox game if he takes care of his stuff.

I’m just trying to keep my one year old from putting stuff in the toilet and throwing stuff in between the stair bannister.

We’ve used zoom to let out middle son see friends. My oldest FaceTimes and games with his friends online. And one of his best friends lives next door and their windows face one another so they still see one another.

That’s ridiculous they expect 4-5 hours a day out of a grade school kid. My wife teaches primary and they’re not approaching it in that manner at all. They’re trying not to over stress the parents but also providing them resources to help. I’d say her kids on average probably do 1-2 hours a day. Next week they are starting lessons. Just four ten minute ones each week. Kids have to do some work and load it on seesaw. It will just be participation for grading.

We’re all in survival mode.

Good to know. Our school has been on top of virtual learning from day 1. It’s been intense but I can appreciate what they’re trying to do.

It sounds like you guys are doing everything right to incentivize your kids! This will certainly be a memorable time to look back on, especially those of us with young kids.

Thanks for letting me vent. Bitch mode is over. Goodnight all.

why don’t you find your own fricking hobbies.

I’ll tell you what your husband won’t: he doesn’t want to hang out with you every waking second of his life. Make friends, find new hobbies, read a book, whatever. He doesn’t exist to entertain you.

Dammit, really? Ugh, OK I'll get it.

I've enjoyed it.

Probably the last one I enjoyed as much was BOPS2.

I really didn't care for the space/future themed ones.

You don't have to spend any money other than buying the game to get all the map updates. If you like custom skins and weapons then there are upgrades.

ETA: True cross platform also and the Warzone (Battle Royale) is pretty cool, although can be slow moving, no zombie modes so far.
