We’re all just trying to get through this shite.

Cut the poor guy some slack, he married you after all.

I have/had hobbies. Then I had children and had to focus my life on them and my career. Is it weird that I don’t have time or do hobbies anymore?

You’re right. In the words of Elsa, my daughters hero, I’ll let it go. Goodnight good people of the OT.

The #1 rule of getting through quarantine okay is: Chill the frick out. Let people work through it how the deem fit within reason.

Yes, it might be the reason you’re so unhappy.

It’s totally amateur! But when I make the intricate, gourmet shite my kids turn up their noses and throw a fit.

Going through same shite with my wife. That’s why the advice was at the ready.

Playing my flute, going to all LSU games or running for hours on end isn’t exactly conducive to being a good mom. At least not in this season of life.

How old are they?

My wife and I don’t have tons of time. We have a 13, 5, and 1 year old boys

And yes being stuck at home is tough in everyone. Even him. My wife is a teacher and actually still working. I’m also still working. Hopefully it stays that way but that’s a stressful topic for a lot of people. Additionally trying to be on top of multiple kids and their school work can be draining while also still trying to work.

I play video games in the evening (even before this) when my wife fell asleep. I play a little with my 5 year old during the day. It’s not an all day thing but when stressed it’s a good way to cope for some people. My wife and I usually just watch trashy TV together to de stress.

Well you need to find an out instead of harping on your husband about his, tell your husband, “you’re welcome”.

Tyler!! Long time.

6.5 y/o boy and 3y/o girl. Boy is having a way harder time than girl. He misses friends at school, the interaction and recess. Baby girl loves being home with mama and is a total people pleaser but she wants to be attached to me 24-7. She doesn’t go to sleep unless I’m laying by her holding her hand. It’s so sweet but it’s also exhausting right now. I have a career in med sales (as does husband) and my company is making us do inane busy work everyday to make up for lost time in field. My sons school has been doing AMI since day 1 of quarantine and it’s 4/5 hours of work daily and he’s only in first grade. And his only interest is playing 24-7. Been a struggle to balance. I started this thread to bitch but the struggle is real.

I love my kids and husband so much. But I need this Covid BS to end for sanity’s sake.

Do it in a bikini with the hottest neighbor and some baby oil and you'll get your husband's attention. Also take video and put on youtube.
