Reads like a murder to me. Dude answers the door, walks outside, swat does not see a weapon, he initially complies with their requests, then he lowers his hands and is murdered.
I don't see how him lowering his hands while outside away from the "hostages" and no weapon in sight warrants being killed

The police are like pit bulls. Some are friendly and well trained. Others are so nuts or scared and nervous that they will attack for little or no reason.

many cops seem to have a proclivity to shoot first and explain later ... i'm betting there was no "we've been told there's a hostage situation here and a person has been shot" as the cops drew their weapons ... let's just shoot and discuss later ... guy doing the calling def should be put away for life, period (guy giving the address should be put in jail, also) ... but if he goes to jail, he'll be out in a few years and fricking up society again ...

Not criminal charges. Should the situation have been handled differntly? Without a doubt. But that wasn’t murder.

Someone needs to come out with a knock out gun. One hit and you're out. I feel bad because police are trained to kill. They kill in so many instances where it isn't needed and are trained to justify the kills.
We need something a poison. A stun gun, bio weapon, something that can hit someone and drop them without killing them.

After seeing the videos of cops shooting people lately, I swear If I'm ever in a situation where they give me commands I am just going to stand there with my hands in the air. Any movement can get you killed.
None of those cops were in danger.
