Breaking News from The Hill
The OT needs to set up a GoFundMe for them!
The fast-growing Northern California wildfire that has forced thousands of residents to evacuate their homes this week has reportedly reached the estate of Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West.
TMZ reported on Friday that the couple’s mansion is in danger of being consumed by the blaze, which also reportedly destroyed Caitlyn Jenner’s home in Malibu earlier in the day.
Kardashian West took to Instagram on Thursday to share images of the wildfire as she returned home from a trip, rushing to pack up her items and evacuate her home in Calabasas.
"Pray for Calabasas," Kardashian wrote in her Instagram Story at the time, which also featured an aerial view of the flames, according to USA Today. "Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe."
"Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!" Kardashian West later added.
Tens of thousands of people were forced to evacuate their homes on Thursday due to the fast-moving wildfire in Northern California, which local officials have dubbed the Camp Fire.
At least five people have been confirmed dead so far in the Northern California wildfire, according to state officials.

How many times will California burn this year?

“Pray for Calabasas” - those people can afford new homes, and the insurance will cover everything

When did Malibu and Calabasas become part of Northern CA?

I know people in California are void of common sense, but I think when I hit the dead end street, I get out and keep going away from the fire.

I was wondering that too, so I Googled and apparently the article is talking about two different fires. The Camp Fire is in Butte County, north of Sacramento.

2 separate fires.
Also like them or not they are humans.

I’m at LAX waiting for flight home. Smoke is all around - fires in the LA area are real and dangerous. And more fires are underway in other parts of the state.
This isn’t about Kim and Kane - fires are impacting thousands of regular people whose homes and businesses are at risk, not to mention the well being of first responders.
And yet Louisiana trash are laughing. “Let those liberals in Cali burn, baby!”
Next time a Cat 1 rainstorm comes ashore from the Gulf and the bayous rise a bit, you same asshats will be screaming bloody murder and declaring it a “disaster.” And you’ll wonder why people in other parts of the country don’t seem to care.
I won’t wonder.

My house is ensured for replacement cost which is 90k more than I paid.
Plus additional insurance for the stuff. I've got it all on video.
It would be inconvenient, and then wonderful.
The valley fire which I was in.
people were only 3% insured. 1,300 houses.
Alas, the poor.
The fire jumped over my house.
Got dozens beyond me.
My driveway had 1,000 cinders.
Not one cinder on my yard which was covered in oak leaves and shrubbery. Miracle.
The random pattern of houses that burned and houses that were skipped over was and is stunning.

I worked like a bear creating a space between forest and my property. I went into vacant lots and did it.
I can see now it hardly matters.
The wind was incredible during the valley fire. And we packed in the dark.
They said it was 145 mph for the Shasta fire. It was a tornado.

I'm aware that there is a fire in Northern CA, but the quote in the OP mentions NoCal three times and says something like a "Northern California ais threatening the Calabasas home of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian." Calabasas are both in Southern CA.
And what did I write that possibly made you think I was implying they weren't human? My sister's vacation home was threatened by the Santa Rosa area fires last year and I've lived in both SoCal and NoCal. There was terrible fire around Big Bear when I lived in Huntington Beach. Over 200 homes were destroyed. You could see and smell the smoke smoke from about 80 miles away.

Butte county where Paradise is located is not liberal by any stretch.

Those fires move faster than a human can run.
