They should be happy at the rising prices. It's what they vote for.

So now they move to your red areas and take over the schools and elected offices and slowly but surely change it into a festering blue marxist butt boil.

I still can't believe voters shot down Prop 6 to git rid of some of the high gas taxes in the state. Absolute morons.

ETA: Prop 6 shows how ill informed the average voter is. All they saw was prop 6 was going to eliminate funding for road repair and construction, not that it was going to be funded by butt raping you with extra taxes.

That’s just a small price you pay to stop climate change

Wasn’t the talking point of their hero Barrack and the media that high gas prices are the sign of a good economy?

Why is it $2.59 in Texas? What the frick are you talking about? Jesus Christ. This is entirely a state issue. The feds don’t tax different states differently for gas.

You can hate Biden and I don’t really care. I don’t think much of him either. But don’t lay this stinking carcass at his feet and blame it on him. This is Californians doing California shite.

It’s a bit of both.

California has their ridiculous taxes but it’s up nationally because of higher taxes/regulation on the entire industry that slows down the supply stateside.

Shutting down keystone xl has a a lot more implications than just libs win/cons lose gas prices go brrrrr.

Hey look. You guys live in a state that apparently loves Gavin Newsome, since you all so abundantly defeated the recall. This is what you voted for.

California has high sales, gas and income tax because the wealthy that inherit property often pay 1-10% of the fair market property tax. It's a land cartel that subsidizes the wealth landowners by having higher sales, gas and income tax.
