Thinking about buying my first-ever truck, and I figured that O-T ballers would know what's best. Chevy? Ford? Nissan? Toyota? Dodge?

I recommend Posh Pre-Owned in Lafayette.
You'll get a shirt too.

Doesn't matter, as long as you have a salt life and yeti decal on the back window.

Costs about as much as my first house.
Tundra ftw.

Tundras are overpriced (really, all those trucks are overpriced, but the Tundra even more so).

I just bought a 2017 Tacoma and really satisfied. I decided to go with the Tacoma over Canyon and Colorado for the size, interior features, and price. I wanted touch screen with navigation, satellite radio and backup camera (which come to find out all trucks have these now) and Toyota offered that. Colorado/Canyon just seem to small and kind of cheap. Also, paid less for a 2017 Tacoma then than a 2016 Colorado, which is a huge plus. Gas milage is legit as well, 25 hwy-21city. I've been averaging around 25 mpg.

Toyota if you can afford it, Ford if you can't.

Most reliable brand out there and that resale value baw.
I got a LC, a Tundra, and a Taco. Best damn vehicles on the road as in weld the hood shut and forget about it.

I have a Tacoma that has needed serious repairs. Should have gotten rid of it but I didn't.
My last 4 vehicles have been Toyota's and I'm just really beginning to see that their quality is overstated.
My brother has a Tundra and the backseat is small. My buddy's King Ranch's backseat must be twice the size.
