I'll pay top dollar for an old appliance in good condition.
I use old appliances to explain to younger people why boomers had money. It's because they bought an appliance and had it the rest of their lives. They didn't throw them away and rebuy them every few years.
I still use a 70s kitchen aid mixer that my mom used when I was growing up. It's done everything from mixing cake batter to grinding deer meat for 50 years and still works flawlessly.
