I had never been to Picadilly before, so Jones took me on one of my birthdays in my 20s and I loved it. I've only been back a couple of times, but that chopped steak, carrot soufflé, and the broccoli salad are all bomb.

Yeah you are better off going into Target or Walmart for that these days.
If you are going there, you tend to be hardcore into one or more of D&D, Magic The Gathering, or Warhammer 40K.

I went into Little Wars once thinking it was something much different than it is
Wow! I thought they closed down when they knocked down the old building on college to build the Wal Mart.

We went there because old people don't talk when they eat. Sometimes we just wanted quiet and Anthony's, Thai pepper, and Superior are not quiet.

Nope, they relocated into that shopping center at Jefferson and Lobdell by Burger King.

I love when people tell me that they love FDL. That way, I know never to take any of their other restaurant suggestions

If the city parish and state wanted to collect Taxes go into these neighborhoods and check the Texas plates to see if they are legal. Then go after these vendors and collect sales taxes from them. The city parish and state budget would probably boom overnight with excess cash.
Cheering on the government to collect more money is the most Baton Eouge thing ever.

Putt putt there is great in my opinion. Just go when it’s not busy.

Good to know. I always enjoyed that place, but I haven't been out there in years.

Also - Cullens still has a toy store. It’s not the big toy land it used to be but def still a store.
Hobby Towne is awesome they have an unbelievable selection of radio controlled models, it’s refreshing to see a family owned and operated business survive. I guess I’m old school but hearing “thank you for your business” means a lot to me.
