I'm not talking about the stock market. That's high stakes gambling.

You can buy a coke at walmart cheaper than the pop machine but that pop machine is closer and cold.
Idk wtf a pop machine is but if you mean vending machine, people are probably closer to walmarts in this country than vending machines.

The point is people pay a premium price for premium service.

This is next level. So simple, but genius. Why not charge $160 instead of $159 or even $1,700 instead of $1,500? Is anyone else even considering this?

Its mind trick. They think they're getting it for 150 but your selling it for 9 more dollars. They say yes, you profit.

Sounds like you've crunched the numbres here.

When I see a price of 159 I understand I’m paying 160, not 150
Do you really think people equate 159 with 150?

Anybody with balls would go to their boss and say, We need to charge more for this... It will make us more money for the same amount of work.
You'll be a damn hero.

Depends on the product, the market, etc., etc.

And how do you do that when some products are locked in under MAP pricing?

A good salesman knows that there are 3 people in a transaction.
The seller- you
The buyer- the warm body thats going to fork over the cash
The conscious person telling the warm body they need what your selling.
You are the one who steals from yourself. The salesman just gives you what inside your really want for a "fair" price.
