That would probably indicate a resurgence in popularity is imminent.

Bonobos was my go-to for chinos, but sometime in 2018-2019, they went full woke with their gay/trans advertisements. And I believe they were bought out by Walmart. I haven’t bought anything from them in a couple years, but I still have 8-10 pairs of chinos that I wear regularly.

Duck Head looks like they have rebranded themselves and I’m tempted to try some of their stuff.

When I worked at the shitty finance company, I wore khakis. Can't remember what brand. When I worked at the bank, I wore dress slacks, normally Stafford branch from JC Penney, which were very comfortable.

Corporate policy has recently been changed to allow us to wear jeans unless we’re in a meeting or customer visit where they would be inappropriate. So that what I do.

Big fan of Proper Cloth for shirts, how are the pants compared to LuLu etc?

As much as I like Lulu I can't really get to the point of wearing synthetics to the office regularly. I've tried various golf pants and bluff-works, etc.

PC is more standard chino/slacks. You're getting quality fabric and decent construction, but like the shirts it's all about fit. PC isn't perfect but having a go to for business wear where I know the fit is going to be right on is well worth the price for me.

Have to admit I’ve really come to appreciate the flex element in higher end jeans and through the thighs sitting at a desk.

First world problems, but even with flex in almost all my pants now, you kinda get to the point where you know these slacks are a touch off so they bunch up and annoy you, etc. That's why it's so nice to go the PC/similar route where you can buy the stretch and know the fit is going to be right on.

I haven't tried the jeans because AG does that semi-custom jean thing and it's perfect IMO.
