1- he's dead
2- he had to sell his "Louisiana" (actually New Orleans) kitchen to Atlanta.
3- the kids now think that the creator of Popeyes is a young black chick instead of an old white guy.
4- above mentioned black chick must be from Atlanta or north Louisiana since she pronounces the state as Loose-E-anna unlike how every New Orleanian would.
5- Atlanta is going to sell his creations to a burger company based out of Miami that's been sold more than a hooker on Saturday night!

This must be a Louisiana thing b/c I've never had trouble with the service at Popeyes or Burger King in Texas

I've had FF w/both age groups in cities and bumble frick nowhere towns. It's pretty rare I ever have issues with fast food service regardless of where I am in Texas. The only place that really sticks out in my mind for fricking up multiple times was a Grandys in Sherman,Texas that went out of business. All the other Grandys I've ever been to have been fine though so it was really just that one location.

It's official Burger King paying 1.8 billion to acquire the rights to all of Popeyes employees. Customer service is about to take on a new meaning with this powerhouse duo.

Serious question. Are Popeye's red beans and rice legit? I know they are the best thing I've ever tasted, but can you get better in Louisiana from somewhere else?
Not really. Since I moved back 8 years ago, maybe had it twice. To me the red beans are bland, and no sausage.
