Cops aren't D1 wrestlers or submission masters. They get 1 day a year in a mat room from their department and are told that grabbing in a headlock is forbidden. Without knowing what to do it is very difficult for 3 people to hold someone on the ground that isn't worried about pain or injury.

I saw the fact check and tbh I generally find the fact checker sources to be full of shite. That’s why I posted the criminal charges that have been filed against him, and did not mention my opinion on the child rape allegation because it appeared there wasn’t anything to support it so I didn’t want to provide a false accusation as evidence this guy is a piece of shite. I was merely pointing to the audacity of his father suggesting his son isn’t a piece of shite. That father can go frick himself based on what his son grew up to become.

The amount of glossing over his rap sheet to portray this man as some hero and martyr who was subject to inhumane treatment and discrimination really is staggering

I think it was a good shoot. 7 shots necessary? I dunno.

If he was still resisting while getting filled with lead then LEO will not stop shooting.

If the dude wasn't stupid as frick or a rapist with warrants then he would have never been shot or tased.

portray this man as some hero

haven't seen anyone do this.... are they portraying him a human being, who, despite what his rap sheet says, deserves the right to a trial, rather than "instant justice" in the form of police shooting him in the back multiple times, sure.... but literally no one is saying this dude is a model citizen...

dunno.... getting shot up, in the back, when you aren't pointing a gun back at the people shooting you, seems pretty inhumane to me...

look, this guy isn't the hill I'd choose to die on, if I were a protester, but considering we've had quite a few high profile "cops killing unarmed civilians" already this year, you'd have to think that it's time for us to require better training, better approaches, better pay to attract better candidates, etc. from our police forces.... 95-99% of them are great people, do their jobs effectively, like are supposed to, but that still leaves room for improvement....

This is the same dude that is always representing the thugs that get shot. He must travel around the county looking for black people that get shot. He represents Alton Sterling’s family. He also represents the people of the guy that got shot at the motel in Port Allen and most of not all of them. Watch. Whenever someone gets shot just notice who’s representing them. There’s also another guy that travels the country representing all the thugs. Another one is L. Chris Stewart who also travels the county representing thugs. You know everyone of of them that gets shot were the most kind and gentle family man

How are the cops supposed to know what hes going do rushing into a vehicle? You act as if its not a possibility hes going grab a weapon.

I'm not disagreeing with you on that, but it doesn't matter what is taught when the time dedicated to train is given low priority and minimal time by a department.

Raping a 14 year old isn't humane, either.

But, I want everyone who questions cops and their reactions to go work the overnight beat on a Friday in the worst parts of town, have a known felon to resist your commands, jump in his car and start to reach for something and decide within 2 seconds if seeing you wife and kids again is important to you.
