Buddy of mine going on a date this Friday with a deaf girl...

Here's the kicker...she never told him she was deaf. He found her Facebook page and she had a few videos and she has that "deaf speech" like really monotone. I get not casting any judgement but wouldn't that be something discussed before you meet someone?

I would put it in the same basket as something like someone missing an arm. Does the person meeting them “deserve” to know beforehand? Nah. If I were that person, would I let people know so I didn’t feel the sting of the reaction of someone processing something unexpected? Yep.

He's going to think that he can fart whenever the urge/need hits him. That is a mistake. He must remember that when a person loses one sense their other senses become more heightened to compensate. Advise him to hold it.
