Hispanics LOVE Modelo and drink an incredible amount of beer. And there's lots of them.

I loved that as a lesson for them. There’s a lot of people who would like that whole situation to have never occurred but it was a major win for normal people. I think it’s great.

There would’ve been 10x more of these campaigns had BL been successful.

Lol no. They went into crisis management immediately and have been doing anything they could to get sales back.

I disagree. They could have easily come out and apologized, said we didn't intend to offend, our customer base is patriotic hard working Americans who love sports, back yard BBQs, concerts and the outdoors. They could have produced a July 4th can with big breasted women firing M-4s while parachuting from C-130 gunships. All would be forgiven. They've done barely nothing.

It’s not an influenced thing, it’s a moral thing. Still have not bought any Gillette shite since their toxic masculinity campaign

Never drank BL since I like real beer, but the Gillette leftist groomer changed my life-long choice in shaving products. BL used to have funny and entertaining commercials, but the stupid marketing bitch decided a tranny frip would be good for the brand. Oops!

It really didn't need a boycott.

So true. Before I go play golf I’ll buy 4 BL twist top cans from the gas station and put them in my bag. Total cost for 4 beers is around $7 whereas one 12oz can is $7 from the cart girl.

It did work and it proved that a boycott could work, for at least a certain amount of time. But eventually people will go back to what they know.

Some will stay gone and some will go back. But either way, they've put themselves in a horrible position going forward.

People aren't drinking beer the way we used to in the 90s. Too many other alternatives today.

I love Shane Gillis but he’d be the first one to call you stupid for not drinking your preferred product because they did something you didn’t like.

Nobody gives a frick about Shane Gillis or whether or not he approves of people’s choices.

You haven’t been paying attention for the last 15 years. Companies now come out and specifically say “these are our morals/core beliefs.” If they don’t then they are attacked - but it’s always the same side or group attacking them.

While companies are constantly saying, “you MUST follow our woke morals or you’ll be cancelled”

So, these lending institutions that control hundreds of billions of dollars of capital don't shut off companies from those funds if they don't toe the company moral line?

people are already starting to go back to nasty arse BL. But it worked very well for a while.

And yet there are customers they lost forever.

There also are likely customers they may have gained due to it, certainly a smaller pool, but the potential exists

I don't/didn't understand how insulting your core base to try and appeal to a.% of the population was smart

It isn't. The marketing campaign wasn't meant to appeal to trannies, it was meant to appeal to young people that don't drink as much beer as previous generations. They did a marketing campaign with 1,000 social media "influencers" that younger people watch. 1 of them was a tranny pedo named Dylan Mulvaney.

You didn't hear about the other 999 cuz they didn't hurt anybodys "feelings" enough to shoot up a case of bud light so everyone could cancel it and feel like they were sticking it to the progs while really just costing Louisiana folks jobs.

"Taking notice" does not mean loss of income.
I'm sure they noticed. It's the one job they have.

It's a good thing people are drinking less bud light, I wish there were more options of less 'hoppy' beer than most microbreweries are putting out. We need more beers like shiner
