I never understood people fascination with Buccees. Are the bathrooms really that nice? Pretty much. The baytown location has 2 full time employees who only clean bathrooms

Might have to make a special trip there just to take a dump.

Great location for it imo. Now they need to partner up with Billy's to make it officially the GOAT stop.

As a result, you'll have less people living in the area. Those living there will have less economic stability with loans, etc...Those that are living there will have properties worth 20% less.

Bucees business model is not dependent on local residents. Look at Luling and Madisonville Tx as examples.

Bucees is still coming to LA just not initially where it was planned. Mr. "Beaver" just purchased land in Lafayette at I10 and Louisiana Ave somewhere around the new Target and Academy.

Good, I still don't understand how in the frick there isn't a gas station on that exit.

There is one coming to that spot that I know of, but it's not a Bucee's.

I'll look into it. Moved to Houston for work early 2000's n they started popping up all over...many of the Chem plants deal with are close by, as well as neighborhood's now, guy is local, store manager says most employees wont/don't recognize him on site, rides Harley often. First thing he does is straight to bathroom for inspection of facilities. .no kidding, no so subtle corrective action if not up to par, also owns construction company so literally he can build/sub his places control cost there fuel via distribution and supposedly buccess, minimum pay is 10.50/hr...sounds like a strong as model but may be hard to go regional. I will investigate the subsidiary names brother! !#

Thanks to whomever it was on the Metro Council that was too greedy. The one they had planned to build here would have been right by my house.
