Every time we stop there I spend around $75. Brisket sandwich to eat on the road, Icees, candy and snacks, and a new Buc-ee doll for my dog because he has humped the last one to death since our last road trip.
That thing’s been fricked more times and in more ways than Stormy Daniels.

So you’re excited about a place you can shop for groceries and pump gas?
It's kind of convenient if you think about it.

No wonder he has such a big smile on his beaver face.

Never said it wasn’t convenient. And sure, I appreciate taking a shite in a nice restroom instead of a nasty one as much as the next guy. Just seems like an odd thing to be excited about. Plus when I’m taking a roadtrip I’m trying to make my pit stops as quickly as possible - get in and get out. Not trying to take my sweet time to check out the beef jerky and generic Bama national championship accessories.
Anyone who is excited about this is fricking weird.

Some people enjoy the journey.

If this doesn’t show the writing on the wall I don’t know what will.
Louisiana is so fricked up and such a shite hole that this extremely successful business based right next door skips over the entire state after terrible negotiations fall apart, doesn’t even think about Mississippi and goes to Alabama.

Do they sell shirts and hats and stuff like that with their name?
If it rustles some parties I want to wear that in La.

People just like the idea of being close to home. They are scared to branch out away from momma and poppa

Well, I guess I’m never riding the ferry again.
How packed will this thing be on Sunday after the 4th?

Yeah but I sort of agree with him. It bugs me to go on a road trip and people just stop there just because they feel they have to. Here to Dallas is 4 hours. There is no need to stop at the damn Buc-ees thats a hour away.

i would never drive out of the way for bucees
But the baytown one is on the way to houston and this one is on way to beach so why not?
Cheap gas, clean shitters, cheap fountain drinks and some jerky

I only stop when I'm heading out of Houston on a trip. Their selection of road snacks is much better than your average convenience store.
