I wouldn’t want to win that way. Just saying.

I’d much rather win that way than lose that way.

That's what you get for playing with your head up your arse.

The kid struck out

He did not. A dropped third strike in this instance is not an out. He did not strike out but instead won his team the game.

you want more heartbreak, check out the previous play

Seeing that second play just shows me that a team was unbelievably horribly coached. How do you leave a pop-up on the infield right there to the pitcher to catch?

It’s still recorded in the box score as a strikeout

Only the 2nd baseman knew WTF was going on. The ump signaled safe when the catcher didn't make the tag but instead of throwing to 1st decided to start celebrating like a dufus.

Heads up the 1st base coach that told his guy to keep running.

Only one person in the stands is screaming it's only two outs.

I mean a win is a win but do you really want to tell your kids “So I’m up to bat with all the pressure on and you know what I did? I struck out and then ran the bases while the other team celebrated”

yeah, but you left out the part about the horrible strike call. So bad the catcher couldn't cleanly secure it.

BTW he's my ring when the other team decided to celebrate instead of finishing the play.

The poor second baseman being the only one on his team that knew what was going on. The winning run was on first and must not have broke right away because he isn’t even to second base yet when they flood the field and the second baseman starts losing his mind. And if the catcher had done anything other than put the ball in his pocket the one heads up kid would have found it.

Watching again, the centerfielder knew too. Watch him run all the way in to the catcher’s spot
