I find it odd you chose to say "this is across from Picadilly".
Says a lot about the OP.

It’s not in St. George.

100% Baton Rooidge. The Great City of St. George does not border Sherwood North of Coursey.

Also, if it were in the Great City of St. George, EBRPSO would be investigating, not BRPD.

That Picadilly is a landmark that everyone in the area would know about. That park however is not.

Because that's the most recognizable business in that area. The restaurant next door has been 100 things, the bank one block over has changed hands 3 times, the restaurant across from that has been closed for years. I find it odd that you chose to comment about the geography within a post about a murder. Says a lot about you.

Either a drug deal went bad or another local rap video was beat shot and things went sideways with the "fake" guns being waved around.

Gravy, the SJW's and SWB all must be so proud of the new better together BR'r.

Originally I was thinking that maybe they just found the body this morning but then i remembered that I drove right by that park around 7 this morning and there were no cops around and kids waiting on the bus.

Yea my aunt lives in the subdivision back there. It's nice. But them apartments up closer to Sherwood... not so much. But i'll be interested in the details on this one. Hope it wasn't someone walking their dog or exercising in the park who was attacked, aka random 'real' crime.

Seconded.

If you asked me about a park in the vicinity of Sherwood, my answer would have been “Forest Park, off South Harrells Ferry”. Not this park.

The Piccadilly is a good landmark for telling where on Sherwood it is for anyone who has driven through the area.

I just updated the post to include another murder around midnight last night.

Id like to formally apologize to you that it was behind Sonny's BBQ. I know it says a lot about me where people are getting shot, but I have learned to live with it.

Because we don't start threads about single victim homicides in new orleans b/c the Admins would get pissed at so many similar threads. A Murder in BR/St George is news worthy.

Yeah, that i don't care about this murder, or the other one that happened last night, or the 4 others that have happened in the last week.

Being that you recognize the Picadilly as a landmark, and keep up with murders of Baton Rouge, you're at least 50 years old. That was my point. which is a meaningless and worthless point to make, but i'm bored.
