We drove past around 6:10, I think, heading toward Perkins. It was a little before the end of the Saints game. There were several fire trucks in the center lane and police cars all around. Maybe it had just happened because they were still allowing traffic going both ways but it definitely looked like they made an effort to conceal whatever had happened.

That's sad. I hope he/she will be ok.

He was my first thought because I saw him several months ago wheeling down Essen by the train tracks in 5pm traffic. That's the first time I'd ever seen him anywhere but near Bennington or across from Walmart by the bank.

I saw the Bennington homeless guy wheeling on Essen a few months back. I actually saw him on Airline near I-12 last week, but 90% of the time I see him at College and Bennington.

Well case closed. Pick up the tape and stop taking photos.

Do they still have the dude in a wheelchair who rides down Florida (west Florida Dr, around that homeless shelter)?

He had an orange flag on his chair. I blew the horn at him before because he was riding in the road to get to the next parking lot. And I thought to myself "you people in wheelchairs need to stay the frick out the road" and for a split second, I forgot I was one of "you people in wheelchairs".

I saw the homeless guy on college around 315pm today at IHOP. So unless he got a ride to Essen I don't think it'll be him.

Is this a dude in an electric wheelchair or a push wheelchair? Maybe he hit Perkins at college and went down to Essen, by the time he got to Essen, his battery started to get low, he was slow crossing the street then got drilled by a car.

That dude is really throwed off, but his shirts that he holds up with things that he writes stuff on, are funny as shite.

He's in a push one. He's got a fricked up leg and it's stuck permanently straight. He's always trying to sale some crusty arse shirts with funny stuff he writes on them.

I saw him on the corner of Coursey and Sherwood a few weeks ago. He obviously has somebody who gives him rides.
