BRPD is walking into the left lane on I-12 east @ Airline to pull people over

They're running stationary radar just before Airline going eastbound. Two motorcycle cops on the left shoulder.
Watched these two retards walk into the left lane to pull over a car doing at least 90 who just changed lanes and flew past them. The vehicles behind them then started having to hit the brakes or swerve in order to not take them out.
frickers have a death wish apparently. There probably isn't a more dangerous method of pulling people over (both for the cops and other drivers) than stepping into the left lane of the interstate while on a tiny arse motorcycle.

That strategy works on the side of 30 MPH roads, not 65-70 MPH interstates. Not too bright

I've often noticed and complained that LSP running radar on I-10 at the Bonnet Carre spillway in the mornings is far more dangerous than speeding drivers. They cause fender benders and some serious wrecks every week by drivers slamming the brakes when coming over that hump just east of I-55 and spotting an LSP SUV on the shoulder.
Sidenote: They've increased a presence at this spot since their cash-cow at I-310 was eliminated when the mph rightfully went from 60-70mph the entire length. They had some bullshite fog area status(swamp or some shite) kept the limit at 60mph for WAY too long from I-10 to Just before Boggs Bridge.

Yes, they're right around the curve on I-12 coming over Jefferson towards Airline. They parked their motorcycles against the dividing wall and are running handheld radar then walking onto the interstate to hold up their hand and have someone pull over. It's amazing how stupid that is.
As another poster said, that works on Stanford where it's 35mph. Not on an interstate where people are doing 85+.
To make things even better, they're wearing the old gray BRPD uniforms, so they blend in with all the concrete around them until you're right up on them.

That tactic got one killed in Cleveland on I-90 like a year ago or so.
They call them "pointers" up there. They run radar, then step into traffic lanes and point at you to get you to pull over for speeding. Seems like they wouldn't condone those kinds of tactics, but nonetheless, they do.

If pulled over, couldn't one use the excuse that they thought the radar was a gun and they were speeding not to get shot? If I were black, that'd be my defense if they're shooting with a radar gun

The fact that thugs are shooting at each other on a regular basis doesn't give you the right to speed, run red lights, etc.
Maybe if prople wouldn't speed, run traffic lights, and drive unsafe, we wouldn't see as many wrecks and accidents stopping traffic?
