BRPD investigating 3 people shot in two separate shootings, one person dead.

The first one was just past 6pm in the 1300 block of N. 39th St. near Cain with a person shot in the leg.
Minutes later and a mile apart, a double shooting came in at the corner of N. 31st St. & Iroquois with the two victims in a vehicle. One person was shot in the head and died on scene. A second person was shot three times in the chest.
That makes three shootings just today, July 2nd in Baton Rouge.

I’ll bet SWB is personally looking into these deaths. The victims are black and I’m sure, as a black civic leader, she’s very disturbed with this violence in her own ethnic community.
