Good god man. You could hire a rickshaw for every game with your parking pass money.
Could you conceive, as a possibility, that he was just commenting on the traffic from his excellent vantage point at the Crescent?
Just a thought............

We tailgate next to the gift shop (the grass lot by the track stadium). After the game we were breaking things down when we noticed all traffic come to a complete stop about 15 minutes in. The Gators' equipment truck and multiple Acadian ambulances sat on North Stadium for a good hour.
We didn't get onto Nicholson til around midnight. It took about 30-45 minutes to get from there to Oklahoma (because someone thinks it's a fricking fantastic idea to allow all the traffic lights on Nicholson to run normally). From there we made quick time home.
Passed the Acadian exit (going east) and while we didn't see any cops blocking the ramp, we did see that the entire exit lane between Acadian and College was bumper-to-bumper and not moving at all.
There was lots of assholery by drivers (like the dipshit who just stopped in front of us on Nicholson, we had to go around him while a cop beat on his window), but the traffic planning for Nicholson is some of the most pathetic I've ever seen.

There was a wreck. At least one reported on Waze
Again...unless the wreck occurred on the ramp and was major or it shut down the entire interstate (neither of which happened), blocking the ramp makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

If the wreck was in the right lane between Acadian and College, it would make sense to close the ramp.
I'm still trying to figure out what the big deal is here. Stay north on Acadian to Claycut to Jefferson and hop on i12 there.

I almost got stuck on Bawell, the traffic on Acadian was a massive clusterfrick

Big deal was not at Acadian. It was the non moving traffic from stanford for 1 hour because people in the left lane were trying to get right before finding out they could not even get on I 10. Once you found out it was too late.

This is part of the reason why LSU fans are notorious for leaving the game early.

we parked near LSU ave and it took me about an hour to get home. Leaving the neighborhood was backed up and shite was backed up until i hit right on perkins. I could have cut about 20 mins out if I would have committed to perkins instead of hoping that i could take the interstate

I went down bawell sometime after midnight and I was the only person on the road.

In the next five years we will see all non permitted vehicles banned from entry onto campus on game day. Mass transit is the future weather we like it or not. I suggest you buy a permit now or the list will be even longer.

BR isn't equipped now and they won't be anytime soon to have mass transit play a significant role to game day traffic. Certainly not in 5 years.

Can't happen soon enough for me.

They fricked with the traffic plan between last year and this year. That's the problem. Some lanes are no longer contraflow anymore, and some new ones are. The wizards that thought they had answers on how to get people off campus were wrong, and now you have 2 hour trips to get home.

Whatever was paid to that traffic consulting firm was 100% a ripoff.
Put the lights on green and move the traffic off campus toward to the interstate as fast as possible.

BR management isn't competent enough to come up with a workable transit program (looking at you, CATS).
