Damn, knew her well. Same age. She was in band at Lafayette High, played saxophone. Not gonna say too much more but she was a cool chick. Well liked amongst the band click in Lafayette Parish while I was in high school. My guess is the student was a chick. She always gave off that kind of vibe

I’ve always heard that band people are some freaky mofos. Like way out there. Like this one time at band camp.
No but really, I’ve heard that some of the band geeks are really really freaky and that the camps/trips are something

Not really any freakier than anybody else. There's just a lot of band people that frick each other. Think about it. You put 200 high school or college aged kids together for an extended period of time at a pretty much 50/50 split male to female ratio and what do you expect to happen

What’s wrong with boys these days? Who’s reporting this and why are they all flaming gays? This would have never happened for Gen X. Guys were guys, pussy was pussy, and gays were marginalized. No guy would have complained. It was a dream.
I blame the gay and soy-fed vegan parents.

You know, years ago I asked my wife why she thought all the young women were banging their students and she suggested this exact thing. Power. These teachers have power over young(er) children and that dynamic leads to the behavior.
They're all fricking nuts.
( but with oversight and a removal process )

The linked article does not mention the gender of the juvenile.

It is always a shock to the community when someone in a position of high trust and public recognition is arrested for something this severe. These situations often leave families wondering how many signs were missed by the administration.
In my own experience dealing with a sexual abuse case involving an Uber driver, I realized that awards and professional standing are often used as a shield by predators to avoid suspicion. So I eventually worked with Oberheiden P.C. because they specialize in cases where institutions, like schools or major corporations, fail to protect the people in their care."
