Went once and tried on a sear sucker jacket. It was listed as a medium. One arm was size XS and the other medium, but the jacket was so small that I couldn't get even put it on

I've found the outlet to be much inferior. The 346 does not hold up like the 1818 shirts.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they are terrible. Wait for a semi annual or other sale at the real BB and stock up then, you will get an infinitely better shirt for about the same price as their outlet.

I've only been to the one in Destin, but it was crap.

Cheap, odd suits, garish polos.

IDK, maybe it was just that one, but it sucked.

The quality is decent and you'll save some money. The outlet is reserved for items that don't sell very well and minor factory defects are present.

The outlet I would worry more about is Allen Edmonds. Almost bought a pair of cap toe shoes and then noticed the cap piece was stitched way out of angle.

AE can be trouble because the shoes are not "firsts" quality that gets shipped to regular stores. I've seen shoes with stitching mistakes and color issues, but most"problems" are minor (like a crease in toe box).

AE is also good for gift card granny + their outlet sales, and the ability to shop outlet through website.

I'm wearing a shirt from the outlet I bought 4 years ago. It looks brand new

I have one from the outlet that seemed to wear much faster, but also one from the online store that looks the same.

Seems like a crap shoot to me. Could also be how much I wear each one, though I don't believe I wear one more than any other.

Some of their stuff is absolute garbage but they always carry higher quality items.

The real key is to go during a big sale period and get those higher quality items.

The outlets have their own inferior brand (365 or whatever). I wasn't a fan.

Went to the one in Destin last year and picked up two pair of pants (one outlet brand the other the store brand), an outlet brand shirt, and a pair of store brand shorts. The outlet pants and shirt have held up nicely and still look new. The regular store items were marked way down and I got them for cheap. In the words of Cousin Eddie, they all seem to be "good quality items".

I went to an outlet in Nashville the other day and they didn't have anything that interested me and the prices didn't seem that good. I suppose in the end they are like most outlets, you really don't know until you walk in the door that day.

Yeah. I'm a big fan. Dicks Sporting Goods, Lowe's and Home Depot have some great discounts, as do restaurant chains. My wife shops at Ann Taylor and regularly picks up 35% off gift cards.

If you shop online, most places limit you to 3 gift cards per transaction. I've paid with five gift cards in store before, because sometimes you can't get a $250 gift card, but you can get five $50s.

I like the precut holes in those gloves so baws can check your knuckles on the spot in frigid conditions.
