Why the hell does it take 17 years to kill someone
He killed two people in much less time than 17 years.
Maybe they should consult him on how he could be executed in fewer than 17 years.

As I understand it, the feeling of suffocation is triggered by your body detecting excessive carbon dioxide, not the lack of oxygen. Asphyxiation by nitrogen or other gases displaces oxygen and you simply lose consciousness without a co2 build up triggering any panic reaction.

I think they should be killed the same way they killed their victims.

Judging by looks alone, not sure she cares what her father thinks.

Well, Jack the Ripper is dead … not much else to choose from in England

This is true.
Also, people need to stop suggesting cheap methods of killing someone and realize our government is looking for the most expensive method to skim tax dollars from.
"Keep alive for decades and then pay $10,000 for a lethal dose" seems to be the current modus operandi.

Did they consummate the marriage?

quote:That is a great head-scratcher to me. IMO every state ought to adopt execution by nitrogen asphyxiation. People who get accidental nitrogen asphyxiation and survive report either no symptoms (they just pass out without realizing anything was wrong--regular air is like 79% nitrogen anyway) or occasionally mild euphoria. People who build assisted-suicide capsules set them up for nitrogen asphyxiation. No issues with drug companies or drug distributors not willing to sell (although I think the state could / should simply expropriate the drugs needed). Almost no issues with a nitrogen asphyxiation mistake where the perp survives.
Why isn’t nitrogen asphyxiation a method [of capital punishment]? Cheap materials, no suffering?

When I first saw the perp's pants, I thought they said AOC--thought maybe he was a big supporter of (or being supported by!) the socialist representative from New York:
But I guess it is more likely ADC, for Arizona Department of Corrections or something.
