The WWE IS NOT competitive anything. What they call wrestling does not resemble the sport of wrestling, nor any other fighting ring sport.

It's fake as in the results are scripted, and therefore the belts are given. But in ways they are earned too. Those guys and gals work on their characters and put an insane amount of work into it. If it works and the fans like it, or hate it extremely, then the promoters are forces to push them over and give them belts. So in a big way they are fake belts, but from the work they put in to get there, they earn it.

Did I say combat? The best of the best in that business.
And the fact remains the vast majority of the guys in that business are extremely good, extremely well conditioned, athletes. They aren't likely to be pushovers in an actual fight.
