Florida gonna Florida

quote:

Chloe Wisniewski, 21, was arrested Friday after a four-month investigation, according to court records.

quote:

While in the bathroom, the woman heard “screaming,” and exited to see the new family pet Apollo, a 3-month-old pit bull mix they had gotten the night before, “chewing” on the infant’s hand. She said she immediately pulled the dog off of the baby, wrapped the wounds in a cloth, and called 911.
quote:

After emergency crews stabilized the baby, she was flown to Tampa General Hospital, where she required surgery for her injuries. Surgeons amputated three fingers from her left hand and partially amputated two fingers from her right, says the complaint. Charlotte County Animal Control took custody of Apollo, and the Department of Children and Families conducted an assessment of the mother. A urine analysis tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, authorities said.

This officer about to lose a finger...

Breed of the low-functioning.

And when they say “Florida” what really should be said is rust belt carpetbagging scum looking for a do-nothing cheaper (pronounced chipper) existence. I guess do-nothing is a bit harsh as financially victimizing great aunt Gertrude probably takes a modicum of effort.

Maybe, just maybe it wasn't the best idea to get a pit bull immediately after having a baby.

As much as I like to shite on pit bulls that is not the puppy's fault. I have a 8 week old Basset and if you put her in a crib with a newborn I wouldn't be surprised if she chewed the shite out of the baby's fingers. Puppies chew on your toes and fingers and their milk teeth are like needles. This is 100% the parent's fault.

I’ve got pics of my lab and kid curled up together since birth. She was 8 months old sitting on the dog and drinking her bottle. The Dog not once did anything remotely unsafe to my kid.

If letting your baby's fingers get chewed off isn't enough, hopefully the positive test for THC is!

Out of control marijuana abuse is to blame. Not an innocent puppy.

I know someone, a bad diabetic, who had their big toe chewed off by a dog or two. They were dachshund and some kind of other small dog mix. True story.

Right. The "native" Floridians are just a bunch of white collar normies.

My grandparents had an Alpha AF male Lab. Not aggressive, but you had to earn his respect, otherwise he just ignored you. When their first grandchild was born, they kept him during the day while his mom went back to work. That dog would lie down right next to the crib and not move. If anybody was going to mess with that baby they'd have to go through him first.

You don’t trust an animal unsupervised around a baby. Period. Common-fricking sense.

Nothing screams "I receive government benefits" quite like owning a pitbull.

A Basset is extremely unlikely to harm a child. At least not intentionally. How many cases can you remember where a Basset did something like this to a child?
