BREC Burbank dog park

Does anyone know if the BREC Burbank dog park is open? I’d like to take my dog swimming. TIA.

Doesnt mean he cannot go in.
I saw people social distancing at the Highland Observatory Park and sign said it was closed.

As long as your pup has a mask on and maintains 6 feet from other dogs, I think you should be ok

The gates are closed at the entrances on Burbank. I have noticed that in the afternoons people have been parking at the entrance then just climbing over them though. I guess OP can do that if he really wants a lake that badly

Walking trails are still open at BREC parks.
Highland Rd allows for dogs as long as they’re on a leash.

Golf courses and trails are open to the public right now. Hell, golf is even free but you have to walk. They just have a sign that tells you to social distance.

The Burbank park is locked most of the time. I’m guessing the soccer people want it locked.

Four days a week for four hours a day ?????
I pass by there in the morning sometimes and cars are parked at each of the two gates. Apparently folks hop the fence to take advantage of the facility. Why keep it locked down so long?

It's still locked down. Tried bringing my dog yesterday around 6PM. It was hot as all balls outside and gates locked. Guess they opened July 20th and then shortly after said F it and locked it back down
