I do however have a problem with women who seemingly want attention and make no attempt to be modest when breastfeeding in public.
how are they drawing attention to themselves? by simply not covering up?

I mean, there are cultures where woman go through every day life with their breasts hanging out. I don't see the men like a dog in heat around them all the time.
You mean Africa, where every STD came from, and men still act like uncivilized animals raping women at a rate higher than anywhere else?

quote]why not cover up a bit when actually breast feeding?[/quote]
Because it's cumbersome to hold a baby and your shirt up AND a barrier to protect the eyes of creepy stating men when all you actually care about is feeding your baby.

the point was that just because you are attracted to a thing, doesn't necessarily mean you should be always attracted to it
But what if you are attracted to it? How can you say that it's acceptable for a woman to breastfeed in public with no attempt at modesty (because modesty is subjective), while calling a man who is attracted to the sight of a breast creepy?

Me: [scenarios where over the course of a year, that wouldn't work]
The fact that you now paint them as real scenarios makes it funny.

same for when you are pumping, but you don't see people pumping in public. Have you ever seen a breast pump, with all the hoses and bags and shite?

If enough women breastfeed in public, it will eventually just become the norm, and it will stop being a big deal.

Why are you staring at moms feeding their babies? Weird.
But I do feel creepy

I never said that a man attracted to the sight of a breast is creepy.
I said that a man attracted to a breast with a baby attached to it is creepy.
And like I said, that is the risk of not covering up, that there will be some creep jerking off under the table to you are breastfeeding your child. Yes...that is a risk.

probably because no one wants to carry a breast pump around all day

And because you need an outlet to plug it in.

I still don't get why you give a shite if a stranger on the street does or doesn't live up to your standard of modesty?

I don't know.
That is why I asked the question.

What if he's not looking at the baby?

My wife breast fed our child, but is against all these bitches doing it in public. She says and I agree that they are just doing it for attention.
If the lady is doing it w/o a cover then I would totally agree. My wife has breastfeed our kid in many places but she usually has her cover or at a minimum some piece of clothing to cover up.
I just don't see how that is so unreasonable.

Then you get a pass.
The first time I breastfed in public was at French Quarter Fest. I kinda felt like someone should have given me a pair of beads

People draw attention to themselves in a variety of ways. Some of those ways are subtle. Some of those ways are not so subtle.
