Why do women find this is "empowering?"

99% of women ARE private about it. The few that feed in public are just less inhibited and don't care what you think. Americans are really prudish about breastfeeding.

Taking a dump is a natural part of life but I don't drop trou in the middle of a restaurant and poo in a plastic bag.

Feeding a baby on a park bench is not even close to comparable to taking a dump on a restaurant floor.

I personally chose to cover up, but I don't care if other women don't. Why should I care? Why should you? Are you jealous of the baby or something?

I didn't even realize people cared about this, if it bothers you that much don't sit there and watch someone breastfeed. It's a fricking baby and a tit, grow up

I'm with you. I breastfed thirty eight years ago and always had a small blanket to cover with. Never once did anyone say anything because they never noticed.

Doing it without a cover is really not nice. Some people don't want to see it, and don't want their kids to see it. While I believe it's a perfectly natural thing, there is such a thing as common courtesy . . .

Do you want to eat with a blanket over your head?

I'll never understand why this bothers some people.
