This guy was suspended earlier this year because the Dallas DA's office filed a complaint against him. They were working on a case with him, and he routinely missed appointments, and then would go on profanity filled tirades against prosecutors when he did show up. Part of the complaint stated employees of the DA were scared of him.

Sounds like he was unhinged, but allowed to continue his employment as a street cop.

I actually had to look up who both of these people are.

Based on what I've read thus far.... Oliver shot into a car full of people? Seems incredibly foolish to me.

You might want to educate yourself a little on this case. It's maybe the most obvious case of unnecessary escalation and violence from a cop you can find.

Did the PD really need 3 days to detain and arrest him?

Are his buddies really going to arrest him?

You've got a lot of hate in you.

Sometimes that's the case but this shoot looks pretty bad. Maybe not 1st degree murder but very, very bad.

This is a situation in which the policeman was in the wrong and should be charged. He goes out to an "underaged drinking" call and ends up shooting a 15 year old? Then his story was different that what his body cam showed? That's fricked up.

Nope. Like I have said before, even in situations like this when there is video, the police get the benefit of the doubt that ordinary Joe Citizen would not get.

McKnight shooter was questioned and released before being arrested days later. Take your bullsht elsewhere again.

You are right. Police get absolutely no special treatment by the police. Take your naïveté elsewhere. By the way the McKnight shooter was not on video either. Also, the officer lied on the report and that was known several days ago .

Smart move to drive away from an LEO with an AR-15 pointed at you.

And there it is folks. Blaming the victim . The car was already driving away as the officers approached.
