Carnival is basically a floating Golden Corral with a bow and stern attached.

Would need a full forensic in vestigation to culprits.
Check the bar receipts. If there are several it’s Team Baw.
If the dance floor was littered with dented flasks and broken airplane liquor bottles? Other team.

I like cruises and I’ve been on several ships.
A few carnival, Norwegian, princess, and some others that I can’t recall.
The most memorable are the carnival ships. Not for the reasons you want though.
The carnival experience is definitely worthwhile for people watching. Drunk, rowdy, slutty, and every other word you can think of for uncivilized behavior is what you’ll find.
Not sure if they have tattoo parlors in their ships but they could make good money on that.
Then if you go out of ports like New Orleans, mobile or Galveston, the level of civilized behavior goes down considerably.
If you go out of these ports during school season, take it to another level since no kids will be on board.
It was fun when I was younger but now, it’s just annoying.

fricking Carnival, man. If there were to be a cruise line I’d place bets on this happening with, it’d be Carnival.
Sailed out of Miami last week on Carnival with our friend group. Honestly, was not nearly as bad as I thought. We had a lot of fun, ship was very clean, and staff was friendly.
We saw some interesting people, but there was no drama at all.

The fight broke out around 5:20 a.m. after two people got into an argument on the dance floor.
Carnival club usually closes at like 2 or 2:30. What kind of frickery was going on on this ship.

Carnival should just change their name to WorldStar and be done with it.

I've been on Carnival 6x and have a 7th scheduled next month.
1) The most I have ever seen is one time, two guys got into a bit of a shoving match which was quickly broken up
2) At 530 am on debarkation morning... the night club is generally not open. Usually, at that time, the night club lounge is used to distribute alcohol that was purchased in port during the cruise and was required to be turned in upon boarding from port.
3) I've never sailed out of NY. I've sailed out of Port Canaveral, Galveston, Miami, and NOLA. By far... the trashiest people and behavior I saw was out of Miami.
4) Carnival will likely issue a lifetime ban on everyone they can identify as having been involved in this.

How was having to eat at specific times and with strangers on a trip you paid good money for? And the Walmart quality pizza at the “24/7” pizza buffet that closes at night?

I rather enjoy this. I like meeting new people and I like that we have the same routine every night. It's not like normal life. It's different. I could not do that every night but every once in a while different is good.

It's a little better than that... and it does hit the spot at 2 am... (currently open until 3 am and 24 hours via delivery)
