When we were in Europe we gladly paid an extra 100 or so to not fly RyanAir. It's so tempting to fly them bc you can fly anywhere in Europe for 30-50 bucks, but the horror stories...my god.

I've been in the exact same situation at the exact same airport.
You have no idea the absolute pandemonium it is. It's an EXTREMELY stressful experience. And most Spirit flights arrive in FLL very late at night.
To say nerves were frayed would be an understatement.

You do understand what "budget" airline means, right? I flew New Orleans to Houston for $65 with a backpack and had zero problems. Everyone else wanted $200+. All I wanted was a plane ride, nothing else. I didn't expect to be treated like a king

Ive flown both and Ryan Air is better
yea the air craft suck, but they don't treat their customers like shite and you actually get to where you are going and don't get stuck.

Flown them a shite ton of times.
Their take off time is actually their boarding time. The will frick you on bags but they have actually gotten better. If you miss your flight then you get fricked with rebooking fees. They have actually stepped their game up bc they are not that cheap anymore. The 30-50 dollar flights are very rare now.
