That’s a good one but honestly don’t know anyone who’s ever spent their own money on Yeti. They cornered the market on gifts.
I was gifted one of the soft sided coolers. It’s pretty great.
That being said, I’ve admitted I bought the Yeti bucket. I felt stupid when I did. And I use that thing all the time. Right now it’s sitting in my garage next to my tackle and has all my fish cleaning stuff in it.
My FiL and Uncle In Law both got one too after I pulled mine out after a fishing trip.

OC and Hoka both exploded but there are a lot of new shoe companies now. Apparently it’s not hard to get into the business. A lot of marketing on Facebook and other social media.

Seafoam. Product has been around for 80 years and is now everywhere. Just needed an inferior form of gasoline concocted to start gumming up engines.

Sears
Sears was hoisted by its own petard.
Sears business started as a mail order everything. They were Amazon. Ultimately they were undone by refusing to embrace online ordering and believing brick and mortar stores were the answer. Sears wouldn’t even honor their own online pricing in store. They made you “order” the product online and then wait for someone to pull it.
