Hahaa...what are they gonna do? Try to serve "LeauxCountryTigah" in "Her Nether Regions"? Chicken would NEVER succumb to the pressure and hand over a posters personal information to the man!

It was a joke. Relax.

This is what happens when you give people free stuff. They'll eventually complain that it's not good enough.
Also, none of these takes away from Brad's attractiveness.

They basically had architecture student interns acting as job site superintendents on unproven building designs built by fly-by-bight contractors who didn't give a shite about quality. A 20 year old kid from Iowa who's never swung a hammer doesn't know shite about building a house in southern Louisiana. Couple that with a likely lack of maintenance and these were destined to fall apart.

You still aren't relaxed. You on meds?

I don't believe the homes are free. Pretty sure these folks paid for them. The average price is supposed to be about $150,000. The purpose of the foundation is to provide affordable housing, not freebies unless I'm reading something wrong. With that said... you get what you pay for. Cheap housing has issues. Contractors make promises they don't keep. water is wet.

When you get free shite
The owners bought the homes but the prices were lower than market.
One quote in the OP says an owner paid "nearly $200,000" for his home.

My uncle used to be a landlord to some low income rental homes.... 2 years of those people living in a home = the wear and tear of 15 years of a responsible homeowner living in them.

We have some people who have gotten sick, or we believe to be sick.

That may all be true, but after 13 years is irrelevant.

I volunteered at some of the house builds. They would bus in teens from church groups to help.
You ever see that episode of the Simpsons where Flanders house is destroyed by a tornado, so the town bands together and build him a new home? When its done, the house is all fricked up and built crazily; like a hallway that gets smaller and leads to a tiny door, or the Krusty poster that is load bearing? That's what all of these houses were built like.
