I had the opportunity to see Brad and the band on the MTV Campus Invasion Tour @ Murray State in 2000. It was at the height of their popularity. The opening band for them that show was Nickelback.
He was a good dude. Still can’t listen to Kryptonite because it was so overplayed on the radio lol.
RIP Brad.

I noticed that one of my local classic rock stations ( the shitty I heart radio affiliate) started playing 3 Doors Down. Damn I'm getting old

Damn I was hoping he’d pull through even though deep down, tv way he looked. That he wouldn’t. RIP

Favorite show I saw was at the CWM pavilion, but also met him in Nashville off stage. Seemed to be a pretty humble guy, proud of his roots and a fighter for the common man.

RIP Brad Arnold.
I actually got to meet him & the entire band back in April 2001 at UNO Lakefront Arena thanks to a friend of mine who worked for Bud Light & got us backstage. He & the band could not have been nicer to us & they all were total rednecks from Mississippi who loved Heineken. He was such a nice guy.
That being said. FUEL co-headlined & completely blew 3DD off the stage. I hate to even bring that up due to the circumstances.

At the Cody Johnson concert in Birmingham and the first song they played in the intermission between Scotty McCreery and CoJo was Kryptonite. RIP good sir and rest well. You finished the race.

My tik tok feed is nothing but Brad Arnold right now. This hurts. 47 years old. That’s too damn young. None of us are invincible. Cherish every moment fellas. We all love to give each other shite here but cherish even those moments.

That man did everything he could to bring more people to Jesus. He is walking thru the gates celebrating right now. No longer suffering. It hurts for us down here. But he is celebrating right now with our lord and savior. God bless that man.
