So exactly how many employees does Fred Raiford have working under him at EBR-DPW? Are they all working up north of Choctaw in the Delmont Village, Senic, and Plank Rd areas because I haven’t seen a truck south of Govt Street in nearly a year.

Seriously….

Baton Rouge cannot survive another flood event like we had in the Great Historic Flood of 2016. I have told the mayor this twice, to her face.
You live in a flat swamp-what do you expect will happen after lots of rain?????

my comment was sarcasm about people thinking x zones are always fine. or if they are x zone and didn't flood then, they think they are safe and i'm always arguing contrary.

We are all good just off High Land Road in the 70808.

Hang in there - the rain will stop in a few weeks.

Came down hard.

Pool was looking okay at 7AM. I had to turn the overflow pump on by 9:00am. We had at least 4 inches in about 2 hours.

BR’s done in general.

The flood would just speed up matters, especially if a ton of businesses and individuals relocate with their payouts.

It would help if it hasn’t rained every other day in July already. Ground is saturated and the creeks were already sort of high.
