Are we in a low pressure system or something similar? I realize this is SLA and rain in August is common, but this seems odd. Kind of early for these types of storms, no?

My neighborhood wasn't here then, I don't know how high the water got, but I don't think it flooded. We have a ditch that runs behind our backyard and it always fills up fast.
