I don't know where BRCC is but the Note was out on Florida early 90s.

STRONG, GOOD mixed drinks. Like I said, God damn shame it's gone.

I was there last night and they had $2 draft everything (blue moon, etc) so that was nice. I always end up at Ivars like 10 random Tuesdays a year.

I don't recall his name. Nice to hear he is doing well, Boo. He was a very nice guy.

What's the problem with Ivar's again?

Use to be a dump that was either really expensive or they were overcharging non-regulars taps to make up for the free drinks they gave out to regulars. It was very strangely set up and did not make use of the side room.

Now that they built the porch and stopped robbing people; there really isn't anything wrong with it unless you are a BR-lifer and don't want to see every white person from your high school.

Is that dude's name Mick or something? He was always drunk as frick when I used to go

English is his nickname. Not posting his real name.

Nothing wrong with Ivars now. The people who are bashing it haven't been since 2014. Consensus is it's a good place to go now.

The best bar in BR is backstreet lounge closely followed by the Jefferson.

they were like $3 too. Small 10 oz plastic cups but hell, 3 of those and you were toasted.

If you put your mind to it, you could bar hop during the week and eat so cheap.

$5 house burger and fries at Olive on Tuesdays, $2 burgers at Earls on Thursdays, 50-cent wings at Ivar's on Wednesdays, $2 tacos at Rum House on Tuesdays, etc.

I have been here and it was fine, but not really my scene. I love a good hole in the wall... but I'm 20+ years younger than their patrons.

Driftwood is solid but they really need the young professionals to start living downtown to thrive
