Yeah that post was slightly tongue-in-cheek, but it's a great option for 11AM on random weekdays

A lot of cool people go to Ivar's. I always enjoyed seeing Hillar and his bro there. Predominantly good looking brawds. No trashy people. Nice waitresses. I never had a problem, and I had been going years before the ownership change.
Always bounced between there and ZeeZees

To me the late 90's going out scene of, The Station, superior grill, Fox and hound, Poets, nightlife and Triple A were the best ever.

I would have another 2-3 chins in no time on a bender like that.

maybe you can help me out. I always wanted to ask, who is the bookie there? or is there just a few people that love watching going OTB and watching ponies there?

The Station
My friend in high school dated a bartender there, so we were there 2-3 nights a week at 17. Thought we were so cool. Place would get packed, especially for nights when Anteeks or Allison Collins would play. Does anyone go to The Station anymore?

Triple A was the place on Bennington? Comedy club? Place that used to leave messages on my phone every week about people doing stand-up? That was the only place I've ever been where the bouncers told me to take out my pocket knife and bring it to car.

Jones and I have a contest for who can out-hole-in-the-wall the other person. Even spans to other cities when we travel or when he lived in Texas.
I have a bar ~20-30 minutes away from BR in my back pocket, but haven't gotten to take him yet.

I don't think anyone goes to the station anymore. They were always packed about 12-15 years ago.

Texas Club had the best physical altercations, especially after 2:00 in the parking lot.

There used to be this one on the corner of Angola Rd and Pinckneyville Rd that was like 15x15 that made some strong arse drinks. Always stopped by there when we went hunting
What was that Reggae place across from where the new EBRSO office is on Nicholson by downtown? I went there with this chick once, and we were the only white people there. The only beers they had were Heineken and Budweiser

Man, I haven't been to Texas Club in years. I think the last time was to see Bret Michaels.

Texas Club's Hard frick on Cold Concrete daiquiri was the GOAT

Club Culture? If that, they did a lot of underground genres of EDM/Jungle music before it got very big. But yeah, it also got a lot of the crowd that lived in the area, so it was a weird blend.
This is just what I'm told. I've never been there.
