Devil's advocate....minimum age restriction with the boy. So where's the responsibility on that?

They also tore down the bottom of the slide and redesigned it after they started testing.

Did he have family in the raft with him?

I cannot imagine watching your son get decapitated helpless in a harnessed raft.

Looks like it was initially going to open without any netting.

Can confirm that it was.

Multiple known slide issues.
Multiple known safety issues.
Multiple known harness issues.
All ignored by park.
Boy was under the age restriction and the park let him on anyway.

The Park is about to pay this boy's family an infinite amount of money.

Even as a parent you knowingly skirted the age restriction? As a parent, that shite would weigh on me like a millstone.

To be clear, the website does not list an age restriction, only height and weight. LINK

Looking at their photos, there are 3 mounted GoPro's, probably for pictures like most rides, sure don't want to be the person to have to review those pictures/vids.

No way of knowing, they check them at the bottom and at the top, so have to think he was.

That raft harness seem like a simple fastenal buckle not a mechanical harness. If that is failing, holy shite that is really bad.

Not trying to be morbid, but you know lawyers are gonna try to argue if it was even close.

How exactly would they determine that at this point? Just go off of last doctor visit?

Well I mean if the harness was malfunctioning there are 3 cameras on the rafts, lawyer won't need anything else besides that footage of it failing and the multiple witnesses I wouldn't think.

WTF did they think those curved joists supporting the netting would do to someone thrown into them at 70 mph? Heck, the net alone could tear you to pieces.

Do you realize that those 3 people seem to be in some of the pictures advertising the ride? I'm guessing those cameras were added to get pictures/reactions for advertising.

Video uploaded to youtube on June 30th showing no cameras.

Yeah that footage or pics that those cameras took will be all the evidence needed in this case. Wonder if this changes if the boy is seen unstrapping himself or it was a malfunction strictly caused by shitty maintenance.
