I was at Galatoire's last Wednesday night, and the French Quarter was dead. Practically no one on Bourbon Street.

Did that huge Fatberg under the street that they uncovered remove most of the "Bourbon St. Smell" that we all contributed to by eating/drinking/etc. in the FQ?

I haven't been back since they said that they found a HUGE blockage of fryer oil, grease, vomit, and piss in the sewers underneath the street that was the cause of the signature smell.

It was a AA (Black) mayor whom called it a chocolate city. Not a white person. So how is calling the road a chocolate bar racist? People like you whom make racism statements. Blacks don't understand if they would just stop whining years ago -we would be closer to blacks as a community than when shouting fairness bs. It makes whites and other not want to hang out with blacks. I remember a time when I was younger and me and my black friends could joke about our ethnical foods, clothes, talk, and cars. Since the past years since everyone takes every thing and calls it bigotry blacks have set them selves back. My OPINOIN.

I’m not sure you know what a normal weekend of revelers looks like. It was not even remotely a normal crowd.

Gentleman's club of another name I frequented in the 90's had "bogeys sports bar" on the credit card receipts in case someone had questions about why it was appearing on statements every month. A co-worker began to address me as bogey, and he suggested the spelling. He wasnt from here and it has nothing to do with the bar that was in badon ruudge. "Baby Dolls" was just too obvious.

Went to FQ on Saturday. Light crowds, but bigger than I expected. Have to admit that it was depressing to see how many establishments are boarded up with plywood. More windows were covered than during Katrina.

Hey azzwipe, the admins deleted 2 posts in the thread so suck a dick.
Eta, I learned the difference between "then" and "than" in grammar school. You still haven't.
