Was born in 1970 but would have been cool to be an adult 1890-1910.

I reckon I should have been born fifty years earlier than what I was, so that would put me as being born in 1919. I would have been out there killin' me some Nazis.

I would like to be in my 20's in the late 60's early 70's. Only under the circumstances that I would not have been drafted.

Socially I'm happy to have been born in the mid 70s and grown up in the 80s. But I do worry I'm going to miss some of the medical miracles that can always keep you in your physical prime. I think I'd need to have been born about 15 years later to catch that.

There are so many great ideas I've had in my life only to find out they've already been invented.

If I was born in like 1900 I could have been Edison. But because all of my ideas have already been done, I'm just some a-hole who posts on Tigerdroppings.

Like other posters have said - no time before the 40's or 50's - you'd probably be giving up 30-40 years of your life off the top going back further.

If I had my druthers, I'd say born in late 70's, high school in the 80's.

Modern medicine, AC, non-wussified America, rock and roll - plenty of fun to be had.

Start high school at 14, right? Born in late 70s, you mean 1975 to enroll in high school in 1989.

Born in late 1966, I started h.s. in 1980.

In ancient times, if you live past your childhood years (and that's a big if), you're likely to live well into your 70s just like people today. In Ancient Rome, average life expectancy is like 30, but that's only because half of all births died before the age of 10.

For me, I would like to have grown up in the post-WW2 era. Life just seemed so much simpler in those days.

Victorian England would be nice as well, although I'd want to time my birth to where I'm just old enough to not die in WW1.

If I could be a wealthy citizen, life in ancient Rome doesn't sound so bad. Have me a nice villa out in the country somewhere with slaves waiting on me hand and foot.
