Mature folks never stopped rocking bootcut. Men’s Wearhouse and Buckle have decent prices. That pair of jeans in the op is a disgrace to bc jeans. Shouldn’t be baggy or bunched at the bottom.

Regular cut Levi's FTW. Fit nicely up top so they're not like dad jeans (like everyone else's regular cut) and loose enough at the bottom for tennis shoes or boots. Best of both worlds.

If I dig far enough back in the closet, I'm sure I have a few pairs just like that. And yes, even after 45 years, they would fit me.

I just ordered a sandwich from that dude at Panera Bread.
I'm old enough to remember the 70's and those are bell bottoms not boot cut.
